Portland Audi, BMW and Volkswagen Repair

Let's face it -- you're not sitting at home casually strolling through reviews on Google to find a place to get a good meal or the salon that will definitely do what you ask them to do and make your hair look amazing. Nope — not right now, anyway. You're looking at Yelp for a place to take your European vehicle to have it looked at and hopefully worked on. You've read through countless reviews for a number of places and you're still unsure of where to take your vehicle. There's always something in the reviews at any of the places that makes you feel uneasy or unsure about that place. I was in your shoes. In my situation, my BMW had been showing me signs for far longer than I should admit to having seen them and tried to ignore them. These signs said I had a problem in the engine area. I drove a VW for 11 years. It was ridiculously expensive to repair and was going to the shop often. I had a great mechanic that I trusted dearly, but I no longer live in the Central Coast of California -- I'm living in Portland. Where do I go? After hours of research, something told me to call Portland Motor Works. I called the shop and was impressed by how friendly and knowledgeable the staff was. They were also able to get me in two days from my call. The person on the phone with me was patient and answered my exhaustive number of questions and never made me feel like an idiot or like I was being rushed off of the phone. I had friends drop the vehicle off as I was working and they came back to me and said the staff was very friendly and I may have made the right choice in where to take Violet. Yes, Violet is the name of my vehicle. Don't ask. Portland Motor Works does things I've never had another shop do. They can send text messages if you cannot talk on the phone. They take pictures of everything they are diagnosing so you can see the actual issue as it is on your vehicle. And when they're done diagnosing the issues, they send a breakdown of everything that is wrong and the pricing (and details) of the work that needs to be done. Each item has its own section where you can approve or decline the work. No need to play phone tag with this place! They get notified that you've updated the information and they get to work to get your car done as quickly as possible. Again, I've had a place before where I have felt comfortable taking my vehicle. Two places, actually. But I never felt this level of trust and communication and transparency as I do with Portland Motor Works. One visit and I am most definitely certain that I'll do business here any time it is needed. These guys are seriously the best.

Great and friendly service every time I take my car in to them. Knowledgeable and professional. Had suspension issues ever since I had my car lowered somewhere else. Couldn't find the problem. Took my car in for an oil change yesterday, and not only did they fix the issue, but my car handles and feels great to drive again!!
