Definitely a great decision to take my car here rather than the dealership! Staff is very knowledgeable with great customer service! Communication throughout the work being done is amazing! Took my car there for an oil change... they informed me on things they found after a quick check up. They weren't pushy in making me feel like I need to get all this work done all at once. The following week, went back to have my valve cover and gasket replaced, among small other things. It was a great experience! Definitely found my "Go To" shop for my car!!!

Insanely awesome experience at Portland Motor Works. This was the best automotive experience I have ever had. From the moment I drove into the parking lot I cannot say enough about how great my experience was starting the day before with Mandy on the phone and then Niles taking an honest interest in me and patiently answering every single question I threw at him regarding my X3. There is nobody around who has more BMW knowledge then Niles and I mean nobody. Simply put, I have never experience this kind of service before.

Although I don’t own a BMW (wish I did, ha!) Niles has always been good to help me with repairs that I need. He is a godly man who loves to serve!

Best shop in town. Niles and the staff are unbelievable. If you own a bmw, this is the place to take it. Honest, dependable and down to earth. I have had my e46 325xi wagon and my e34 540i both serviced here and couldn't imagine taking my vehicles any where else. The communication and professionalism are off the charts. Having your cars serviced or repaired here is like become part of a family, you know you can trust Niles and the team to not only keep you fully informed but to do the right thing for the vehicle you love and rely on. I'd consider myself an enthusiast, and I know that Niles and the team feel just as passionate about my cars maintenance and performance as I do.

Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value! I tend to be more of a hands on person in regard to my BMW, but I trust Niles and his BMW team to give me solid and clear answers when there are issues with my car and a fair price. They always take time to explain the issues in detail. When I first purchased my BMW I went to a couple if other shops but found them to be looking for repairs that did not need to be fixed and over charging. I learned the hard way, I hope this review saves you the time and money I lost. My advice: See Niles and his team first. They are the best!

Professional, well-run shop that obviously focuses on customer service. Mandy does a fantastic job with communication keeping you apprised of where your repair is and how much it will cost. On the cost side, they're maybe a bit high as others have said, but they're still way more reasonable than the dealership. I thought the markup on parts was a bit much, but I understand that that's an area where an independent shop makes money and they do need to pay for the techs, real estate, insurance, etc... Niles and his team did a great job and I was impressed by them coming out to talk through the repair. I took the car in for a fuel problem. Normally, I do a lot of my own repairs but didn't want to mess with gas. They talked me through options and even did a thorough inspection of all the other little things going on with my 180K miles 13-year old X3. I didn't feel any pressure to fix those other things and the amount of selling around those options was minimal. Overall, I highly recommend PNW and will use them again when I don't have the aptitude or the time to repair my BMW. It's refreshing to find a shop that treats its customers with honesty, integrity, and respect.
