Portland and Redmond Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, MINI Repair

I can't speak highly enough of my experience at PMW recently for my 2011 Mini Cooper that's been giving me a hard time lately. I ended up having my husband book the appointment and take it in because I've unfortunately had some bad experiences with car shops and I feel it was due to the fact that I'm a woman without much knowledge about cars. However, PMW totally changed my perspective on how honest, kind, and transparent auto shops can be! After the initial inspection on my car, they emailed us a comprehensive breakdown of all of the many issues and included itemized costs for each repair including the breakdown of parts and labor as well as an explanation for each repair. They also called my husband and walked through the issues point by point, answering any and all questions we had and even helped us understand each issue in order of importance. They didn't pressure us into any of the repairs and were completely understanding of the reality of our financial limitations. We opted for one in-shop repair and decided that the rest we are going to try to do ourselves, and again, they made us feel comfortable and unjudged with that decision. When it came time to pick up my car, I felt comfortable interacting with them shop at this point, knowing that they were friendly and didn't make me feel uncomfortable without my husband. The two folks that I saw were unbelievably kind, and even made a point to chat with me for a while and met my dog that I brought with me! Truly a phenomenal experience and I absolutely cannot recommend PMW enough. They got us in next day for my appointment and made me feel like a priority throughout the entire process. I am so glad that I ended up trusting them with my business and I will not hesitate to bring my car back there in the future.

We've had a mysterious short circuit in our BMW X3, and after taking our car to three other shops who could not fix the problem, Portland motorworks completely understood the problem and fixed it in one visit. They didn't try to oversell any of their services and they were very upfront with all of the details of what they were doing and what they found. Ive been a customer of Portland Motor Works for a little over a year and have had a few oil changes and some more extensive work done. Each time Ive come in or even just called with questions I say to everyone who will listen I just love these guys, they are all just genuinely good people. And its the truth. From the smiles and humor to the knowledge and incredible work that is reasonably priced, PMW is the only place I will be bringing my X5! Thanks team!

Dropped off my F82 M4 for it's first oil change since ownership. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the care, and honesty this shop exudes. I was given a courtesy inspection upon my first visit and could not be any happier with how my car was handled and needs met. Inspection was thorough and efficiently found areas where work could be done. Niles and Abby were fantastic to work with, no hidden fees, no pushing for unnecessary work, just clear cut honesty and the willingness to have the car back on the road in the most efficient and cost effective manner. I've found my BMW shop for life and glad I found the Portland Motor Works team. Bonus points for the shop dog Mazie that only adds to the inviting atmosphere! Absolutely five stars for Portland Motor Works! I was in a real bind when my BMW 530i broke down and had to be towed in after hours. Thankfully, Niles, the owner, stayed late to accommodate my arrival. Their kindness and willingness to help during a stressful situation was truly exceptional. From the moment I spoke with Emily in customer care, their communication was top-notch. They kept me informed every step of the way, explaining the issues clearly and providing honest, transparent advice. To top it all off, they even offered me a loaner car, which made a huge difference in my ability to get around. The level of professionalism, genuine care, and excellent service I received from Niles, Emily, Abby and the technicians has made Portland Motor Works my auto shop from now on. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy automotive service for their BMW, VW, Audi or Mini. They went above and beyond, and I'm incredibly grateful!
